We harvested organic vegetables from our demonstration site at Mankranso. This harvest was done by our farmers.
The farmers, especially women play a major role in every activity that goes on at the site. Vegetables that were harvested include pepper, carrot, cucumber and lettuce.
These are hybrid type of vegetables. The varieties are high yielding with superior fruit quality, enhanced disease and pest resistance and better adaptation to environmental conditions.
